Apologies for the tardiness of this update, but I encounterd problems with my computer last week - ie. Dell are shit. However, there is lots to catch up on. Most noteably The Making Of Gladiator showing at the Annecy Animation Festival. It was a fantastic week of cartoons, boozing and sunbathing. The atmosphere at the fest (for anyone who hasn't yet attended) is unbelievable. And Russell's knob got tremendous reception - which was pleasing, as I was touching cloth about having to show it to an auditorium of 2,000 French people. I did have some photos of the event on my phone, but that got nicked back in Bristol - sorry.
Since the screening, I have received lots of invites to show the film at other festivals including Just For Laughs in Montreal I sent a copy to Russell Crowe's agent last week. No reply as yet.

More splendid news re: The Making Of Gladiator. It has been selected for the one dot zero festival in London. They even emailed a fancy rosette to prove it. Here it is...

The Animation page has been updated with a couple more shorts I made ealrier last year - Fat Appeal and The Elephantiasis Diaries. I didn't bother putting them on the site at first as they hadn't screened at any festivals or anything, I just made them when I was bored and unemployed. Spot the obvious re-use of characters! Aren't I a lazy cund!

The Making Of Gladiator has been selected for the Short Film competition in this year's Annecy Animation Festival. The film seems to be going from strength to strength. Who would have thought that a two minute flick about Russell Crowe's cock would be so appealing to selection panels!

The Making Of Gladiator has finally gone live on Atomfilms. After a brief cock up with my contract being bounded across the Atlantic and back, I can finally eek a bit of cash from one of my animations - which is nice.

Highlight: I got married - wahey!
Lowlight: The Making Of Gladiator didn't get through to the final three of the Best Short category at the British Animation Awards. Didn't come as too much of a surprise when you see the quality of the finalists and compare that with my scratchy Flash animation with a narrative based around a tumescent todger. Oh well, there's always the BAFTAs next year.
